Mökin sisällä on myös Biolanin erotteleva käymälä, ja pihalta löytyy perinteinen huussi. Viime vuosina mökkiä on kunnostettu huolella: terassi ja ulkoseinät on maalattu vuonna 2024, ja aurinkosähköjärjestelmä on asennettu vuonna 2023. Tämä tekee mökistä entistäkin viihtyisämmän, mutta säilyttää perinteisen kesämökki tyylinsä. Sijainti on erinomainen, sillä Simpeleen palvelut, kuten huoltoasemat ja ruokakaupat, ovat vain 10–15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Imatralta vain reilun puolen tunnin ajon päässä.
