Ajan autoni rivitalomme päätyasunnon katokseen ja kannan kauppakassit katoksen suojissa sisälle. Ulkovaatteet jätän peililiukuovilla varustettuun eteisen vaatenaulakkoon. Vien työsalkun yläkerran makuuhuoneeseen, jota käytän työhuoneena. Myöhemmin siitä tulee lastenhuone. Menen keittiöön ja laitan ostokset jääkaappiin ja pakasteet pakastimeen. Keitän kahvit ja istahdan ruokapöydän ääreen. Ruokailutilan ikkunoista huomaan, että ulkona on kiva ilma. Taidankin mennä parvekkeelle juomaan kahvit. Kahvien jälkeen siirryn olohuoneeseen lueskelemaan lehtiä. Kylläpä on rauhallista. Puolisokin tulee kohta kotiin. Hänellä on varmaan ollut rankka työpäivä, joten lähetän hänelle viestin ja kysyn, haluaako hän mennä saunaan vai rentoutua poreammeessa? Pitäähän pientä luksusta olla arjen kiireiden keskellä. Tällä kertaa valinta oli saunominen. Menen alakertaan, laitan saunan lämpiämään ja istahdan takkahuoneen nojatuoliin kuuntelemaan musiikkia. Puoliso tulee kotiin, saunotaan, vilvoitellaan takapihan terassilla, laitetaan takkaan tulet ja paistetaan makkarat iltapalaksi.
